The singer who sang the national anthem in Italy on Sunday died in the US.
Rachel McAdams died on Friday from a brain aneurysm, the singer’s management said.
It was not immediately clear why she was taking the step.
Raisi, 30, is one of Italy’s most successful female singers, having scored hits such as ‘L’Avventura’ and ‘I Feel Fine’.
She has been a guest at both US presidential inaugurations and the UK’s Brexit talks, and her songs have been performed by Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Lady GaGa.
